ART IS MY ESCAPE
Karla is a digital visual artist, her preferred medium is video and photography.
She grew up with an unstable childhood, therefore she uses art as a form to escape from my reality. Karla loves to live inside her art and the world she creates. Her goal as an artist is to bring her audience out of reality and into her world of "make-believe", discovery, and wonder.
Karla believes every detail is important no matter how insignificant it may seem. A lot of her work reflects her curiosity; therefore you will notice a lot of close-up and extreme close up shots. She tends to linger with her shots a little longer than usual. However she likes to experiment with rapid cuts every now and then.
